Liz Scott and Stu Newberry are a husband and wife team. They’re working in the heart of their local community sharing a simple message of wellbeing. Liz and Stu see that listening is the key to grass-roots mental health. They believe that listening is the most useful gift that can be shared.
Liz and Stu have teamed up with their Social Prescriber, Community Connector, Library and other community organisations. Their aim is simple. It’s to create a listening town. Their town is Ivybridge in Devon.
Inner Compass Guide CIC is a social enterprise with a mission to support communities to thrive by unlocking natural resilience, connection and wellbeing through listening. Liz and Stu see that the whole community will need to come together and involved in supporting mental health issues over the coming weeks, months and years.
